Suet Pellets

Suet is a desirable food source throughout the year when you’re a songbird looking for their next energy boosting meal. Rich in fats and protein, Suet Pellets can aid garden birds through difficult times of the year such as the harsh winter weather or busy spring and summer whilst breeding. Being so energy rich, they’re often picked out first by our birds when fed among other bird foods.

Each pellet is a convenient beak-sized snack which can easily be taken away by our shyer garden birds who wish to eat in the comfort of a nearby bush or tree. Their greaseless texture makes them a delight to handle and creates no mess as long as they are fed from a place where they will keep dry.

Suet Pellets are a particularly splendid food for songbirds such as Robins, Blackbirds and Thrushes. These birds adore both our insect and berry flavours and compliment their natural diet perfectly. We recommend feeding Suet Pellets from a bird table or scattered on the ground to allow these birds full access to them. However, they may be fed from a dedicated suet pellets feeder, a peanut feeder (sparingly however, as they do breakdown and clog in wet weather) or from a seed feeder when mixed with a seed mix.
