Kibbled Peanuts

Originally only introduced during the Spring and Summer seasons, to be fed loose to garden birds, Kibbled Peanuts have quickly become one of our most popular foods to feed your feathered friends all year round. With whole peanuts being unsafe to feed during these months, (due to the fact they can choke chicks in the nest when fed as a whole peanut by the parent bird) Kibbled Peanuts offered a unique opportunity to continue feeding peanuts loose on a bird table or on the ground without any risk to chicks. 

However, after feedback from customers mentioning that they found their birds preferred Kibbled Peanuts over regular Peanuts, we began to offer them all year round. Year on year these have proven to become more and more popular. We now recognise Kibbled Peanuts to be among one of the very best foods you can offer to your birds and have now begun to mix them into our very own Gourmet Blend (our highest quality seed mix to date).

On the topic of mixes, if like many of our customers, you wish to mix these with other seeds to create an ultimate seed mix of your own, then go right ahead. Adding Kibbled Peanuts to other seeds greatly boosts the energy and protein levels of your mix, which will dramatically increase its appeal to many different species of birds helping you encourage flocks from far and wide. Within a mix, Kibbled Peanuts can be fed in a seed feeder, otherwise, Kibbled Peanuts are best fed on the ground or from a bird table if fed solely. Kibbled Peanuts can often clog in a seed feeder if not mixed with other seeds due to their high oil content.
